The 6-day Drava Cycling Route is suitable for recreational cyclists seeking pleasure who like to cycle and also like to visit some beautiful spots along the way, who like to feel the pulse of the cities that they visit and where they spend their nights, and who like to indulge and experience the culinary delights on the way. Among other things, they can experience rafting, rowing, swimming, etc.
- Day 1: Dravograd to Radlje ob Dravi – 28 km
- Day 2: Radlje ob Dravi to Maribor (train between Podvelka and Fala) – 26 km
- Day 3: Maribor to Ptuj – 30 km
- Day 4: Ptuj to Ormož – 28 km
- Day 5: Ormož to Varaždin – 30 km
- Day 6: Varaždin to Legrad* – 52 km
*Caution when planning your trip: Legrad is next to the confluence of Mura and Drava, has no accommodations, and train or bus connections from Legrad are not possible. The first possible connection is by train from Kotorib, which is about 17 km away from Legrad.
