Štrekna is a cycling trail built on the abandoned route of the former railway line that connected Velenje with Dravograd. The name of the cycling trail derives from the fact that it runs along the disused railway, also known as the "štreka." It is one of the most well-developed cycling routes of its kind in Slovenia, offering a picturesque panorama of Pohorje and Uršlja Gora, along with the unique experience of riding through the Huda Luknja gorge.

The BIKE Maribor cycling route is a circular trail (in both directions) around Maribor and its surrounding settlements, with two branches leading toward Meranovo and Vodole-Malečnik.
