Novelty in 2018 - Inclusion of HPP Fala and Selnica ob Dravi

In 2018, the Drava Cycling Route became 7 km richer with a new route. Cyclists can now cross the Fala HPP and cycle on the Apple Trail (Jabolčna pot) in Selnica ob Dravi and further towards Ruše. This new part is an extremely attractive route that allows the cyclist to ride over the Fala HPP, a landmark unique to Slovenia. The Apple Trail (Jabolčna pot) has 6 rest areas for cyclists, where cyclists can learn everything about apple growing. The municipality Selnica ob Dravi completely rearranged 700 m of the cycling route connecting Selnica with Ruše for the needs of the Drava Cycling Route.
