At the end of 2017, the Slovenian Infrastructure Agency replaced the signposts along the 145 kilometre Slovenian section of the Drava Cycling Route between Austria and Croatia. In total, over 400 signposts were either replaced or newly placed, thus ensuring high-quality directions for cyclists along the Drava Cycling Route.
The new signposts comply with the new Rules on traffic signs and equipment on roads, which requires red-coloured signposts. The signposts will include a completely new Drava Cycling Route logo, which will be used in Italy, Austria, and Croatia. The signposts will also show directions to larger towns along the Drava Cycling Route, making sightseeing and visiting the local tourist offering easier.
