The Assembly of the Partnership for the Drava Cycling Route – Drava Bike has elected a new president

On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the Assembly of the Partnership for the Drava Cycling Route – Drava Bike was held in Radlje ob Dravi. During the meeting, members appointed a new Management Board, which will serve a four-year term.

Mag. Alan Bukovnik, Mayor of the Municipality of Radlje ob Dravi, was elected as the new president of the partnership. At the same time, the partnership expressed its gratitude to the outgoing president, Leo Kremžar, for his dedicated and committed work in the previous period.

A representative of the Directorate of the Republic of Slovenia for Infrastructure (DRSI) also participated in the assembly and conveyed encouraging news that, within the current financial framework, European funds are expected to be available for the construction of several new sections of the Drava Cycling Route – Drava Bike.

The Assembly reaffirmed its shared commitment to developing a high-quality and well-connected cycling infrastructure along the Drava River.
