Have you ever wondered how natural processes work and how human interventions in space affect the environment? You will get answers to these and many other questions at the training ground. You will get to know the diverse habitats that nature offers. From the forest and river bank to the sandbank and running water - each habitat has its own special features that you will explore. You will understand how these habitats affect different types of life.
Amphibians are key indicators of the quality of both terrestrial and aquatic habitats. At the training ground, you will learn about amphibians such as the mountain urch and the great navel, and understand why they are important to the health of ecosystems. The presence of amphibians in a natural environment indicates its quality, while their absence may indicate an environmental overload with pesticides and other pollutants.
The driving range is located behind the volleyball court at the Drava Center and invites you to enter the wonderful world of nature and knowledge. Together we will explore, learn and contribute to the preservation of the environment that surrounds us.
